This morning we woke up and it was snowing. This is the first real snow fall of our fall here at the house. Finally, the season has turned and fall is no longer acting shy.
It's thrilling in many ways but there's always a tinge of "oh boy, here it comes" and out comes the boots, coats, gloves, hats, layers, socks and where are my knee warmers and my winter riding gloves..away goes the flip flops and shorts..well maybe not quite yet, the rest of the week is supposed to be lovely.
The cosmos looked a little sad this morning but by this afternoon they had perked back up and seem to enjoy the moisture. Though I'm loving the woodsmoke and my candles again.
