October 22nd is Craig and I's 15 year wedding anniversary, here's to much more love, adventures and friendship!
Young Pups! Craig and I with Josy and Root in Joshua Tree, CA. I think this was our honeymoon trip, Josy and Root are pups, this is when we were climbing bums.
We'll be going away to the desert for our anniversary this year, as we always do, bikes and camping gear in tow. Some down time spent just the two of us doing what we love, wandering around, being in the moment.
Fast forward 15 years and we're still having an adventure, even if it's a slightly wet and cold one on the 401 in Crested Butte, CO.
Some thoughts on love...
It is not a lack of love, but a lack of friendship that makes unhappy marriages.
Friederich Nietzsche
Love is like a campfire: It may be sparked quickly, and at first the kindling throws out a lot of heat, but it burns out quickly. For long lasting, steady warmth (with delightful bursts of intense heat from time to time), you must carefully tend the fire.

Happy 15th!! very cool. Jeff & I will have our 25th in Dec...Time flies when you're having fun. It's such a gift to have a great life partner. Hope to see you again! Scottsdale, Mar. 2010?
Thanks Kat! We'll see you in Scottsdale for sure, looking forward to it!
Happy Anniversary! wow, 15 years - that is very cool (that coming from someone who was happy to recently celebrate 6 years of wedded (mostly) bliss). Hope all is well with you guys. Autumn is drawing to a close here in New England and we're already talking about our winter adventures.
-- and the pic from that soggy 401 ride brings back memories. We just saw Race to the Sky last week about this year's Leadville 100 and had a sense of understanding when the bulk of the riders got caught in some nastiness up high.
Take care!
Hi Susan..good to hear from you.
We're well but now thoroughly thigh deep in winter as we have almost 2' of snow and it's still coming down. Time for the x country skies.
